24-25 competition team

SDDA offers students age 4 and up the opportunity to participate in competitive dance through the Elite Competition Team. Extracurricular in nature, the SDDA Elite Teams are invitation-only for students under 9, and audition-based for older students. Our Elite Teams provide students the chance to compete at the regional and national levels.  Want to be part of this amazing experience?  Auditions are held each Spring and Summer. Parent information meetings are held immediately prior to auditions to convey all the pertinent details.

• August - June
• Interest meetings & auditions held in the spring & summer for the fall season
• Ages 4+ 
• For ages 7 and under, dance experience is required, but not an audition
• 30 minute class per dance, 4-6 competitions, competition camps in June, team events 2-3 times per year
• The Elite Team is nationally recognized and excels in the southern states
• Daily operations focus on dedication, respect, trust, passion, and excellence
• The goal is personal growth through joy in the process, effective time management, teamwork, and discipline
• Joining the Elite Competition Team not only leads to success on stage but also benefits future personal, professional, and academic endeavors
